iLife's official FAQ pages (iliferobot.com) tell owners to count the beeps the robot makes; the specific meaning of each beep count is cross-checked from multiple published troubleshooting guides, not a single official chart, so confirm against your model's manual.

1 beep Side wheel or side brush problem info
One or both side wheels, or the side brush, is obstructed or stalled.
Fix: Turn the robot over and clear debris from the side wheels and side brush.
2 beeps Bumper or cliff sensor problem info
The bumper sensor or a cliff sensor is dirty, obstructed, or stuck.
Fix: Clean the bumper and the underside cliff sensors, then restart.
4 beeps Main brush not rotating warning
Hair or debris is jammed in the main brush, stalling it.
Fix: Remove the main brush and clear out anything wrapped around it.
2 quick beeps + red light, robot backs up and circles Obstacle escape behavior info
This is normal obstacle-avoidance behavior, not a fault, unless the robot keeps repeating it in the same spot.
Fix: If it keeps looping in the same spot, move the obstacle or relocate the robot to open floor.
